UFC

So besides Tami's wedding and seeing everyone, the next best thing of the weekend was going with Josh to a sports bar to see UFC 83. OMG, how great was that? So much fun and so much action all rolled into one event. Boy those MMA people really are thrilling to watch. Though I'm glad that aren't all as bloody as the first match was. Bad thing....not only do all my relatives smoke, it appears everyone in Portland does, as smoking is allowed in the bars. Ugh, we smelled like an ashtray by the time we got back to the hotel! Between all of them, I haven't inhaled that much smoke since I gave up smoking in 1995!

Niece Tami's Wedding

Well, Josh and I went to Tami's wedding on the 19th. We were in Portland from the 18th -20th, how nice was it that they saved the ice cold, dreary, awful weather for us! Tami's dress was beautiful and the wedding turned out very nice. Will post pictures soon.

Leap Day

Well another birthday has come, this was #14. We had a great time on Friday the 29th celebrating with the kids and grandkids. Saturday was "Crop till you drop at Mary's house". We started the day off with a field trip to Scrapbook Territory in Berkeley. Jan, Shannon and I had never been there before. What a great store, my favorite was the ribbon bar. I think I finally have the sidebar and slideshow working properly, thanks to Matthew. Hope it continues to work. Now I can start sharing some layouts, (if I can only find the time).
