Such a long time away

Oh what a long time it has been since I've even looked at this blog.... So much has happened, both good and bad. Unfortunately most has been bad.

Bad
1. Mom passed away in Sept of '09
3. Tami passed away in Feb of '10
2. I broke my hip in March of '10
3. Had to stay with Josh and family for almost 3 months
4. Matthew and Whitney moved to Oregon in Aug '10
5. My father-in-law passed away March '11

Good
1. My new grandson Killian was born January '11 (bad: he lives in Oregon)
2. Had a Vegas weekend with my peeps in Feb of '11

Well, see how the one list outweights the other...I think I have now made myself even more depressed than I was before, if that's possible.

And that's why I have not updated all this time................

Disneyland

OK, so I'm a bit late with this post...about 6 weeks I'd say, but over Memorial Day weekend we went to Disneyland! What a great time we had. The last time I went with the grandbabies Trenten was 2 1/2 and Trinity was only 3 months old. Now he is 5 and she is a little over 2 1/2. They love Disneyland as much as we do, except the characters...but we are working on that!

Favorite ride: Midway Madness

Favorite attraction: Pixie Hollow . I'm going to try to upload pics to the web albums here, but for some reason that didn't seem to work out too well the last time I tried. More later...

Birthday Boy

Here's the birthday boy getting ready to blow out his candles. Cake made by grandma (me). He wanted a Spiderman theme this year. Look at the look on his face, it's priceless as he listens to everyone singing him "Happy Birthday". Trinity is patiently waiting...

So for part of my bday present I asked Matthew to update my blogs, especially this one. I wanted Tink, but couldn't figure out how to get it. So as you can see, here she is. And after hours, I figured out how to get a slidshow that I can actually update...So all the pics in the big slideshow are from late 2008. Don't my babies look cute as Wolverine and Tinkerbell??
